Position located in Dorval, Qc

Responsibilities:

- Work under the supervision of the Head Chef

- Supervise and coordinate the team

- Supervise the preparation of ingredients as well as their cooking according to the high standards of our company

- Presentation of dishes according to the details specification of the supervisor

- Work closely with production supervisors

- Is responsible for training kitchen employees

- Regularly produces a progress report of his day

- Any other related tasks

Requirements and skills

 

- 5 years experience in cooking, as chef, sous-chef or solid chef de partie experience

- Understanding of high volume food processing

- Master the concepts of quality, food safety, health & safety at work

- French and / or English spoken and written / Spanish an asset

- Be comfortable with conversion measurements or very comfortable with a calculator

- Excellent organizational skills

- Creative

- Good communicator, motivator

- Ability to supervise and coach his team (leadership)
